Interview #7 Sara Lund

Tell us something we don't know about you / something odd about you.
I am a girl who is full of surprises when you get to know me - specially when I know many people think I am really serious. It is true to a certain extent, the truth is I get people to laugh very easily and I am very clumsy, I mean VERY clumsy. It's like I was born with two left feet. The list of clumsy things I've done can be long. And In also suffer from malice hehe, I just can't hold myself from laughter, but that is another story..
What can you not get enough of through a fashion-perspective?
To develop my personal style, go back in my own wardrobe and mix with the items I already got. The people who has been following me a while knows I'm not exactly a fashion-junkie.
What is the best thing about Spain?
Everything: the weather, people, life, environment, culture. Cliché but true, the big picture had all you need. It's a whole other mentality down here, so one or two culture clashes has happened but I must admit that I become more and more spanish and I start to figure out what the expression "vivir la vida" means more and more.
You best beauty/make-up tips?
Stop listening to other peoples tips and go and talk to a professional to get to know what your skin needs. That is what I did and since then I've managed to keep good track of my skin, the face is so sensitive and all beauty products doesn't give the same effect on everybody, so that is my tip.
What does the best party-outfit look like to you?
A totally black outift, heels and red lips. I am more of a slacks-kind of girl at the club (just like everyday) than wearing short party-dresses, I feel more comfortable and classy in that. But sometimes I want to chock people, just like the last party-night, I wore a tight red dress.

Who would you want to exchange wardrobe with?
Simple! A couple of months ago I would say Elin Kling but we havn't seen that much of her lately. Now it is definetely Funda Christophersens warderobe I want to dig into, it feels very me.Simple elegace and many timeless pieces.
How often do you clean your closet?
Because my philosophy is about making thoughtful purchases and lean towards classy and sustainable I don't need to clean my closet that often. Although you people should keep your eyes open for a bloppis soon, I have some pieces that doesn't suit me anymore and they deserve to be used!
Dream-vacation?
I have never been to USA, so my dream-trip right now would be a fashion-relatedtrip to NY, why not during fashion week?
Your summer must-have?
Discover more of the island I live on, just being able to walk on these streets everyday is a priviledge in itself.
What was your latest buy?
A pair of mid-waist wide pants from MaxMara Studios.
Your next buy?
I try to hold on to my money right now, but if I buy somethings it will be something in beige. My new favorite color!
Who is your fashion-icon?
The answer will always be Elin Kling, she woke my fashion-interest for real and will always be a role model to me.
Best trend right now?
My favorite right now is to wear one-color outfits, totally black, white, grey, blue, beige, green yes you get the point. But if I lived in Sweden I would say the suede-trend, but it is too hot for leather down here.
What can we not miss if we ever go to Palma?
Something I say to everybody who plans to come down here is to rent a car. The best thing about Palma is that you can get to the most amazing bays, beches, beach-clubs, view-spots and ports on the island in just one hour.

Photos: Sara Lund Blog and Instagram
I just recently did a post about Sara Lund, I know, (read it HERE) but this girl is such an inspiration I just needed an interview with her. She has a great blog and style (which I've already said in my last post but I could just go on and on and on....and on) AND she is really active on instagram. My favorite when I want inspiration quick so that is perfect (just above you see some of the photos on her instagram). On her blog and instagram we get to be a part of her life in gorgeous Spain, her work as a stylist, her everyday-life and her style. Thank you Sara for being a part of this interview. It has been a pleasure and thank you for saving me when I have nothing to wear.
